Condition Grading - Craft Patterns & Books

This page will explain how we grade our craft patterns and books.

The conditions for craft patterns and books are generally the same. This also includes craft magazines.

New/Like New - The item in this condition went through minimal handling and storage. It is clean from writing or previous owner's marking. It may have publisher's remainder marks, price stamp or clipped corner on fly page but is in new or almost new condition.

Very Good - Almost like new but may contain previous owner's name or writing, little handwritten notes, underlines or highlights, minor storage wear, and few creases. If a book comes with a dust jacket, the jacket may have some wear on edges or have been mended by tape.

Good - Has been used for a good amount of time but still in good condition. The item may have moderate amount of wears, such as handwritten notes, highlights, underlines, creases, tears, storage and handling wears. Dust jacket may or may not be present and may have markings or tears on it.

Acceptable - Have been used extensively but is still usable. The item may have a very good amount of wears, such as handwritten notes, highlights, underlines, creases, tears, storage and handling wears. Dust jacket may or may not be present and may have markings or tears on it.
